The Mid-State Bolt & Nut Safety Policy

In order to ensure a safe work environment the following policy has been adopted:

• Mid-State Bolt & Nut will comply with all State and Federal safety codes, standards and regulations.
• Every accident will be investigated promptly and thoroughly with the aim of preventing the same or similar accident.
• Safety and hygiene rules will be formulated and all employees will be required to comply with them as a condition of employment – this includes safety requirements specified by customers when on customer property.
• When workplace hazards cannot be eliminated, suitable personal protective equipment will be issued to employees.
• Employees are required to properly wear this equipment.
• All supervisors and managers are responsible for safety in their respective areas of responsibility. They will be given the training, assistance and authority needed to fulfill this responsibility.
• A safety committee has been formed with both management and employee representation to review safety issues and is charged with promoting safety within the organization.
• The safety committee will provide on-going training to all employees on topics related to improving the safety and hygiene within the company.
• All employees are encouraged to submit safety ideas or concerns to supervisors, management and/or the safety committee members.
